If you have any questions or are uncertain as to the meaning of any aspect of these terms and conditions you must contact us prior to placing your order as all orders received and acted upon by us on the understanding that our terms and conditions have been read, understood and accepted by the Purchaser.
The terms and conditions apply to all business transactions carried out by Show Plates World, hereinafter referred to as the ‘Company’.
The person who is applying for goods from the ‘Company’ will hereinafter be referred to as the ‘Purchaser’
Your statutory rights are not affected.
In line with our chosen delivery partner, we cannot guarantee delivery of items on a Saturday.
The time scales of delivery are indicative and not a guaranteed time frame.
We cannot be held responsible for delays to your delivery which relate, either directly or indirectly, to issues caused or associated with our chosen delivery partner. As such we are unable to offer refunds or compensation for such delays.
We cannot be held liable if You select an incorrect delivery method.
We will not be held liable if a UK delivery method is chosen and a non UK address is entered.

We cannot be held liable for an incorrect shipping address being entered at the time of order. If we believe an address has been incorrectly entered, then an attempt will be made to contact you. If we are unsuccessful, then we reserve the right to wait until you contact us in relation to your order.
Lost items are not deemed lost by couriers until 14 days after posting. We are in no way responsible for any lost items. Any replacements for lost items will be produced and dispatched at our discretion.
We cannot replace or refund lost or stolen goods in transit without a full postal investigation and trying to determine what went wrong. We may also not refund or replace goods until the postal insurance pays out.
No cancellations are accepted once your order has been placed be that by internet, telephone or through the mail. There is no ‘cooling off period’ and the transaction cannot be reversed and no refund can be given.
It is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser to ensure that all details are entered onto the Company’s internet forms and submitted correctly. Any amendments requested once an order has been received shall be charged for.
Before the Purchaser attempts to purchase a show plate containing a logo, the Purchaser must first receive the permission of the holder of the copyright or trademark of the chosen logo. The purchaser then agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the company for any liability incurred as the result of the purchaser’s unauthorised use of material contained in the show plates, including but not limited to the use of logos in the violation of any right of the trademark or copyright holder of such logos.
By sending Show Plates World photos of your or you and your vehicle you agree to the following terms.
We do not claim ownership of your content, but you grant us a licence to use it.
However, we need certain legal permissions from you (known as a “licence”) to provide the Service. When we share, post or upload content that is covered by intellectual property rights (such as photos or videos) on or in connection with our Services & websites, you hereby grant to us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide licence to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate and create derivative works of your content. This licence will end when your content is deleted from our systems.
All plates are quality checked before leaving our premises. The Company will replace any goods that are damaged in transit or which do not meet the quality standards that we set. If the Purchaser has received damaged goods or goods that do not meet their expectations please send an email through to the Company with photos. The Purchaser must not fit any damaged or goods they are not happy with to any vehicle as by doing so the Purchaser accepts the quality of the goods and no replacements or refunds will be issued. Any returns made will be at the Purchaser’s own expense as the Company will issue refunds/replacements on sight of photos.
Orders placed before 5pm will be dispatched on the same day. Orders placed after 5pm on a Friday will be dispatched on the Monday after (unless its a bank holiday, then it will be the Tuesday).
The Company’s liability is strictly limited to a full refund of monies paid to the Company by the Purchaser only and no claims for damages, interest on monies paid or any other expenses shall be entertained.
Show Plates are manufactured and supplied for ‘off road’ use only (car shows, exhibitions, weddings, photo shoots) and use on private land where relevant laws governing the manufacturer and use of number plates do not apply.
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties in respect of the purchase.
No verbal conditions or guarantees expressed or implied shall have effect on these terms and conditions unless written and initialed by one of the Directors of the Company.
If any term, provision, covenant or condition of this agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect and shall not be affected, impaired or invalidated.
